Through the SPAN Home App, homeowners 32 are able to download their energy usage to allow them to better track and understand their usage.Instructions for downloading data will differ depending on the panel you own:
Through the SPAN Home App, homeowners can download their energy usage data for the following:
Total Home
Grid
Solar
Battery
Individual Circuit
The data provided will be in kWh and will be the total energy consumption from the chosen time period.
Can I customize the data I download?
At this time, there isn’t an option to customize the data you download through the app other than what is discussed in this article, here.
Why is my data download missing data?
If you notice certain time increments are missing from your data download, this means SPAN was offline (the internet connection was not stable) and was unable to record during that period.

Having trouble with your data download?
If you’re having trouble with a data download or are not seeing the option to download in your app, make sure you have the most up to date app.
If after updating the app you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to SPAN Support with a detailed description of the issue, what type of device you are using, and what version of the app you are currently using.
Downloading Data for SPAN Panel MAIN 32
Open your SPAN Home App and go to either “Circuits” or “Stats.”
Circuits - get energy usage for an individual circuit.
Stats - get energy usage for total home usage, grid, solar, or battery.
For "Stats" only: Choose which type of energy usage you’d like to view:
Total Home Energy
Grid Energy
Solar Energy
Battery Energy
Scroll down and choose “View History.”
Choose what type of time period you would like to view:
Today
Week
Month
Year
If needed, scroll to the specific time you’d like to view. You can see past data as well as present by using the arrow buttons on either side of the date range provided (as shown in the image).
Choose “Download Data.”
Choose whether you’d like it downloaded directly onto your mobile device or if you would like to share it (text it, email it, etc). The data will immediately download.
Click the grid icon on the Home screen of the SPAN Home App, choose whether you'd like to see Day, Month, or Year data, and click the download icon in the upper right corner of the graph.
Solar Data
Click the sun icon on the Home screen of the SPAN Home App, choose whether you'd like to see Day, Month, or Year data, and click the download icon in the upper right corner of the graph.
Backup Battery Data
Click the battery icon on the Home screen of the SPAN Home App, choose whether you'd like to see Day, Month, or Year data, and click the download icon in the upper right corner of the graph.
Total Home Data
Click the home icon on the Home screen of the SPAN Home App, choose whether you'd like to see Day, Month, or Year data, and click the download icon in the upper right corner of the graph.
Individual Circuit Data
Go to Devices, click on the Panel, and choose "View panel and breakers."
Click on the breaker you'd like to review followed by "Energy usage history" below the graph.
Choose Day, Month, or Year at the top of the screen followed by the download icon in the upper right corner.
