How to rename your Circuits

While your installer will initially name all of your circuits during your panel set up, you are able to update the names at any time through your SPAN Home app.

The process will differ slightly depending on whether you have a SPAN 32, SPAN 40, or SPAN 48:

Updating Circuits for SPAN Panel Main 32

  1. Open up the SPAN Home app and choose “Circuits“ from the bottom of the page.

  2. On the Circuits page, filter by ActivityIn Panel, or Area and select the Circuit you want to rename.

  3. On the chosen Circuit page, select Edit next to the Circuit name. Type in the new name and click the checkmark to save the change.

  4. If you need an updated breaker map, you’ll see the option populate in the upper right corner of the “Circuits“ page.

Updating Circuits for SPAN Panel Main 40 and SPAN Panel MLO 48

  1. Open your SPAN Home App and choose “Controls“ at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Click on “Panel control“ and you’ll be taken to the panel circuit page. Click on the circuit that you’d like to update.

  3. Click “Rename“ in the upper right corner of the circuit page and a window will pop up where you can edit the name.

  4. Update the name and choose “Save“ and you’re done!

  5. If you need an updated breaker map, choose “Devices“ from the bottom of the home screen and click on the SPAN Panel image that appears. From the options, choose “Email breaker label map“ and choose “Send breaker map.“ A PDF of your breaker map will be sent to the email on file for your SPAN Home Account.
