Why are my fans running?

SPAN Panels have active cooling technology built into the Panel for improved performance and reliability for the longterm. The fans operate dynamically, turning on or off as needed given your home’s unique power usage profile. You may also hear the fans cycle on for a few minutes after a software update and during a weekly self-test to ensure the fans are maintained over time.
